First of all, let’s get this straight; writing greeting cards is not as easy as it seems. I should know. I tried it and failed gloriously. I went on the requisite website, www.greetingcardassociation.org.uk, made a few calls, followed the guidelines, sent off my stunning lyrics expecting victory and was brought down to earth with an awakening thud. However, I am not deterred. I will persist and keep on trying and I will conquer. After all, Rome was not built in a day.
